About The Position

The Station Security Manager administers and maintains policies to ensure the physical security of all property and assets owned by the organization. This role involves reporting and analytics of physical security to be compliant with TAPA America guidelines, identifying opportunities for improvement, and making recommendations internally and externally. The manager will work with the contracted Security team and their physical security guard team on-site to reduce SLA times for incidents, train and develop the local team to ensure alignment with implemented security procedures, and create reports and analysis for customer and leadership review. Additionally, the role includes managing the contracted security team, ensuring they report and perform their duties, creating internal training measures for them, and developing security procedures and protocols for the site in conjunction with the contracted team. The Station Security Manager will partner and coordinate with the customer onsite SOC, partner with Corporate Security to maintain compliance with global security policies and procedures, and collaborate with Corporate IT & Corporate Security to ensure facility security hardware aligns with global standards. This role also involves reporting and investigating any/all security incidents at the location, partnering with Corporate Security regarding any security enhancements or process improvements, and potentially communicating with law enforcement on security matters. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years related experience.
  • Minimum 1 year industry experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable of warehouse operations and freight/logistics optimization.
  • Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, decision making, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and document processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborate with internal and external resources, respond to questions from senior management, and manage through conflict with a positive, flexible attitude and professionalism.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office, especially Excel.
  • Final candidate must successfully pass an E-Verify Check.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Professional Certification may be required in some areas.
