The Station Manager will manage and coordinate the operation of the station within budget, and in accordance with established policies and procedures, while promoting exceptional customer service. This includes ensuring that all customer complaints and damage claims are documented and appropriately resolved, preparing and submitting administrative reports in a timely manner, and ensuring station compliance with all safety requirements. The Station Manager will also coordinate general facility maintenance and manage station remitter and voucher programs, ensuring all funds are accounted for and properly reconciled. Additionally, the Station Manager will be responsible for meeting the manpower needs of the station by leading and managing staff members, creating a positive working environment, scheduling, assigning work, selecting, coaching, training, managing performance, conducting reviews, and performing waiver inspections. Travel to other stations to provide management and staffing support may be required.
