About The Position

SkyHop Global is expanding and launching a brand-new operation at Sacramento International Airport (SMF). We are seeking a hands-on, high-impact Station Leader to build, lead, and grow this location from the ground up. This is a true launch role where you will establish the team, set the standard, and define what success looks like at SMF. This is an opportunity for a strong operator who leads from the front and thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments to take ownership and make an immediate impact. SkyHop Global is a nationwide leader in airline crew transportation, providing safe, reliable, and on-time transportation for pilots and flight attendants between airports, hotels, and training centers. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to meet company insurance requirements
  • Ability to obtain airport and ground transportation permits
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. (airline crew luggage handling)
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Willing and able to drive routes when operationally required
  • Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Safe Driving Record: No major violations, DUIs, or excessive points.
  • Must pass criminal background screening.
  • Must pass a DOT or company-required drug test.
  • Able to lift luggage and assist airline crew members.
  • Reliable, presentable, and safety focused.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required airport/city permits.
  • 3–5+ years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, hospitality, or airport operations
  • Proven success in fast-paced, high-accountability environments
  • Strong communicator who leads by example
  • Decisive and confident in real-time problem solving
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and compliance
  • Full availability including weekends and holidays (24/7/365 operation)

Responsibilities

  • Launch and lead all station operations at SMF
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop drivers and operational staff
  • Lead from the front—supporting dispatch and driving when needed
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety policies and operational standards
  • Deliver “Raving Fan” service and exceed airline expectations
  • Conduct ride-alongs and coach driver performance
  • Oversee scheduling for a 24/7/365 operation
  • Drive accountability through performance management and coaching
  • Ensure vehicle compliance, permits, and maintenance readiness
  • Build strong relationships with airline partners and stakeholders
