About The Position

Motivate is seeking Station Cleaning Services Technicians who will maintain the overall cleanliness of street fixtures, docking stations, and advertising panels. The starting work schedules are overnight shifts, Monday – Friday, 10:00 pm – 6:00 am. Please note that schedules are subject to change as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement and for business need.

Requirements

Enjoy working outdoors throughout the New York City area
Comfortable using power washing equipment and hand tools
Dependable, exhibit a strong work ethic, and take pride in your work
Valid Driver’s License and can pass a Motor Vehicle Record check
Experienced and comfortable operating (driving, maneuvering, and parking) large vehicles in busy, urban areas
Enjoy working outdoors year-round and in all weather conditions
Proficient with using apps on a smart phone and/or tablet
Knowledgeable in using various tools and equipment
Can lift up to 75 pounds, push/pull heavy loads, bend, stoop, kneel, sit or stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

Inspect and evaluate assigned bike share stations for cleanliness
Perform bike-share station and other area cleaning services using power washer equipment and various tools
Complete assigned projects thoroughly and to quality standards, such as bike lane or parking striping and graffiti removal
Utilize mobile devices to document work order ticket completion records
Keep and maintain clean and presentable work areas, tools, and equipment
Operate a large vehicle to travel throughout urban areas, following safe driving and work practices
