NaphCare Alabama Prisons LLC is hiring a Statewide Director of Nursing (RN) to join their team in Bullock Correctional Facility located in Union Springs, Alabama. Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alabama
- A valid CPR card
- A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive administrative/management experience in a healthcare setting
- 1 year experience in correctional healthcare preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's in nursing preferred
Responsibilities
- Works in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator (HSA).
- Responsible for leading, directing, managing, and evaluating all clinical nursing operations.
- Responsible for staff development, nursing education, management of nursing practice, and for assuring all operations are in compliance with contract requirements, NCCHC, ACA, and professional nursing standards.
- Directs nursing care to provide quality healthcare and achieve the goals of the nursing department.
- Ensures the integration of evidence-based practice and research application that fosters nursing excellence in the delivery of care.
