Assumption University is seeking an energetic and effective communicator to establish and maintain relationships with state vocational rehabilitation organizations throughout the country. The university’s Rehabilitation Counseling graduate program has received three training grants that provide tuition support to students pursuing careers in rehabilitation counseling. The liaison will collaborate with the Director of Rehabilitation Counseling, the graduate program marketing team, and the graduate enrollment team. The role involves identifying key contacts; facilitating communication among the university, agencies, and students by email, phone, and video conferencing; sharing information about grant-supported educational opportunities at Assumption; and building supportive, collaborative relationships through timely, accurate, and helpful communication. The liaison will also assist with secure digital record keeping of federal grant documents. This is a 12-month, grant-funded, part-time position of 15–17 hours per week. Continued employment is contingent on continued grant funding. The position may be hybrid or fully remote.
