About The Position

Freedom Caregivers, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) / State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to provide in-home, 1:1 care to senior clients in their new branch in Delaware, Ohio. As a Caregiver/Home Health Aide, you will have the rewarding opportunity to support our senior clients in their homes with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and fostering meaningful connections that enhance their quality of life. The agency provides a paid, comprehensive training program, training shifts, paid travel time, and mileage reimbursement. Caregivers work for an agency with a great reputation and friendly, communicative supervisors who prioritize work/life balance. There are opportunities to become a certified Home Health Aide in 1 year or less, earning higher pay and advancement opportunities. Caregivers make a difference by helping clients maintain normal routines, reducing stress and anxiety, encouraging independence, postponing institutionalization, preventing premature decline, providing safe transport, and giving peace of mind and family support.

Requirements

  • Must be compassionate, reliable, and want to make a difference in the lives of seniors.
  • Must be able to speak and read English fluently.
  • Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • HHAs and STNAs are encouraged to apply, but training is provided for all experience levels.
