About The Position

The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) provides routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The STNA is an important member of the interdisciplinary team and delivers direct patient care, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, as directed. The role is available full-time and part-time on day and night shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved STNA program.
• Currently registered or licensed in the applicable State, with an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action.
• Excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Ability to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to maintain professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and others.

Nice To Haves

• One year of geriatric nursing experience preferred.
