About the Role: As a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Portsmouth Health and Rehab, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our residents, including: Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Helping with mobility and transferring residents Providing emotional support and companionship Assisting with mealtime and nutrition Participating in resident care conferences and contributing to care plans

Requirements

• Current STNA/CNA certification
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with assistance
• Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to residents, as needed
• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help with mobility and transferring residents
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Assist with mealtime and nutrition, including feeding and hydration
• Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care and activities
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
