Requirements

Active CNA license required.
Strong understanding of non-medical caregiving boundaries and client safety.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and safe transfer techniques.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, families, and team members.
Compassionate, reliable, and committed to maintaining client privacy and dignity.

Nice To Haves

Experience in home care, assisted living, or similar environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Provide social engagement, conversation, and emotional support to promote client well-being.
Support safe transfers and mobility using proper techniques and assistive devices when needed.
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, tidying, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe home environment.
Monitor for changes in client behavior or condition and report concerns promptly to supervisors or family.
Provide patient, structured assistance for clients living with dementia or memory-related challenges.
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed.
