About The Position

The Michigan Lottery is seeking a dependable, honest, motivated, and hardworking individual with a positive attitude and strong ethical standards to join their team. The Michigan Lottery, established under Public Act 239 of 1972, generates funds for Michigan's public-school system through ticket sales at retail locations and online, with profits supplementing state education programs. This position will direct and supervise Lottery District Sales Representatives, whose primary responsibility is to maximize revenue for the State School Aid Fund through lottery sales exceeding $3 billion annually. The role involves planning, organizing, directing, and supervising staff functions and operations, as well as evaluating performance and recommending actions for improvement.

Requirements

• Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
• Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
• Must submit to an initial background check.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test within 24 hours of offer; refusal to test may lead to sanction.
• Must pass a criminal history background check.

Nice To Haves

• Education level typically acquired through completion of high school and two years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 14 level; or, one year of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 15 level, may be substituted for the education and experience requirements.
