As a Senior Startup Investor Manager, Accelerators within AWS, you will execute
our engagement strategy with startup accelerators. You'll combine technical
understanding of cloud technologies with business development to evaluate and
support high-potential startups. Your technical expertise will enable you to
participate in architectural and technical discussions with founding teams,
while your business acumen will help implement AWS's approach to accelerator
partnerships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years of experience in technology industry with focus on startups, accelerators, or technical roles
• Strong understanding of cloud computing architectures, services, and best practices
• Experience evaluating technical solutions in startup context
• Track record of executing strategic business initiatives

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a YC founder
• Knowledge of AI/ML and emerging technologies relevant to academic research
• Strong analytical and technical assessment capabilities
• Experience with cloud architecture
• Startup experience through Series A investment

Responsibilities

• Execute AWS market and technical strategy within assigned accelerator programs
• Assess technical and business potential of startups through understanding of their architecture and technology stack
• Build and maintain relationships with accelerators and early-stage investors
• Implement strategic initiatives that align AWS services with startup and accelerator needs
• Provide technical and business guidance to portfolio companies on cloud architecture
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute programs that support startup growth
• Create and deliver business reviews on portfolio progress and challenges
