Starter/Ranger
About The Position
The Starter/Ranger is responsible for professional guest interaction and will thrive in guest service, helpfulness, and kindness on the golf course. This role involves performing all duties in a professional manner, operating carts safely, monitoring play on the golf course, and enforcing course rules. The position requires flexibility to work a varied schedule due to business levels and industry demand, adherence to all safety procedures, and the ability to provide clear directions and answer guest questions with excellent customer service skills. Additionally, the Starter/Ranger must maintain a well-groomed appearance, display a helpful and appreciative attitude towards guests and employees, and be willing to assist in other job classifications as needed.
Requirements
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Must have good organization skills.
- Ability to communicate easily with members and guests.
- Must be able to perform physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be physically able to bend, stoop, and lift repeatedly throughout the day.
- Standing or walking for long periods of time may be required
- Position requires full attendance of scheduled hours
- Enthusiastic, outgoing attitude and personality, patient and non-combative
- Organized, able to work in a busy environment where the priorities are changing
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance
- Required to spend most of the time out

Responsibilities

- Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Give clear and concise directions to various locations in the resort
- Answer guest questions using excellent customer service skills
- Must be well groomed, with nametag on at all times while working on the property.
- Must be well-mannered, display a helpful attitude at all times, greet guests when encountered, show appreciation to the guest for being at the resort, show willingness to help guests and employees at all times.
- Provide assistance in other job classifications as determined necessary by immediate superior.
