About The Position

Responsible for maintaining all converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime. This role involves practicing safe work habits, performing lubrication of corrugating equipment, assisting in preventative maintenance, treating wastewater, and performing general building maintenance. The goal is to maximize equipment utilization by ensuring machinery runs at available capacity and speed. The position requires completing all paperwork accurately, working necessary hours and shifts, and maintaining good housekeeping in work areas, all in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate.
Able to apply concepts of high school math.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.
Working knowledge of equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.
Working knowledge of product layouts and production specifications.
Working knowledge of product quality specifications.
Working knowledge of quality standards.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

Prior work experience in the corrugated industry.
May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License and/or other appropriate certification to work in certain areas or on certain equipment.

Responsibilities

Practice safe work habits at all times.
Perform lubrication of corrugating equipment, including greasing bearings and checking gearbox oil levels.
Inspect and clean filters as necessary.
Assist in preventative maintenance checks.
Treat wastewater and notify manager of any issues.
Assist all departments with maintenance repairs.
Follow up on all work to ensure repairs and work are performed properly.
Maximize equipment utilization by maintaining machinery to run at available capacity and speed.
Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines.
Willingly work all necessary hours and shifts.
Help maintain good housekeeping in work areas.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
