About The Position

The Rally Hotel is seeking a Starbucks Supervisor to oversee the coffee shop operations. This role is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining quality service, adhering to corporate and regulatory standards, and achieving financial goals. The position is located in Denver, Colorado, within a vibrant entertainment district adjacent to Coors Field.

Requirements

  • More than two years of post-high school education.
  • Two to three full years of full employment in a related position.
  • Thorough knowledge of restaurant/hotel practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures and the ability to determine course of action based on guidelines.
  • Supervision/management communication skills.
  • Ability to investigate and analyze current activities or information and make logical conclusions and recommendations.
  • Ability to make occasional decisions guided by established policy and procedures.
  • Excellent comprehension for assisting with guest and associate matters.
  • Interpreting instructions from superiors.
  • Excellent vision for seating guests, expediting food, cleaning equipment, reading floor plans, charts, and schedules.
  • Excellent oral communication for communicating with guests and associates, issuing instructions, and communicating policies.
  • Excellent comprehension to read and implement policies and procedures; writing schedules and reading forecasts and SOPs.
  • Knowledge of chemicals/agents for training purposes.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry tables, chairs, trays, plates, and chaffing dishes on a daily basis, 20 - 40 lbs.
  • Ability to bend to pick up dropped items and assist in serving food or getting supplies.
  • Mobility to cover all areas of outlets supervising for 95% of the shift.
  • Continuous standing to assist at hostess station.
  • Climbing stairs (varies by location).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing human resources within the coffee shop, including hiring, scheduling, training, development, coaching, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
  • Manage coffee shop operations to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and federal, state, and local laws.
  • Forecast, implement, monitor, control, and report on outlet budgets, including labor, food, beverage, supplies, and equipment costs, to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
  • Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, and comments to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales.
  • Implement promotions, displays, and ideas to attract more in-house guests and capture a larger share of the local market.
  • Monitor and control the maintenance and sanitation of outlet areas and equipment.
  • Ensure the Coffee Shop is compliant with all safety and sanitation audits.
