About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Starbucks Manager to lead our team at Cosentino's Price Chopper in Grain Valley, MO. This role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, coupled with a proven ability to coach and develop a high-performing team. This position is responsible for all aspects of Starbucks operations, including sales, inventory management, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. The successful candidate will also be adept at problem-solving and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably within a food service environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Thorough knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • General knowledge of inventory management and cost control.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Starbucks Manager or similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of Starbucks operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Complete all required training and certifications per the Starbucks Operational Guidelines.
  • Manage and motivate a team of baristas, providing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by training staff in selling techniques and addressing customer concerns promptly.
  • Maintain inventory levels, manage ordering, and minimize waste through effective merchandising strategies.
  • Implement and enforce food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Manage scheduling and labor costs to meet budget targets.
  • Resolve customer complaints and operational issues effectively, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment through effective communication and leadership.
  • Make informed decisions regarding staffing, product ordering, and store operations.
