About The Position

Fairmont Pittsburgh, a 4 diamond LEED certified luxury hotel, is seeking a Starbucks Barista. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, thrive in a team environment, and are dedicated to providing excellent customer service. The Barista will be responsible for creating a great customer experience, focusing on quality in their work, and being open to learning new beverage recipes. Key aspects of the role include cash-handling, maintaining store safety, and working efficiently in a fast-paced, energetic, clean, and organized workspace. Excellent communication skills are essential for engaging with and understanding customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality beverages and food products
• Handle cash
• Ensure store safety and security
• Engage with and understand customers
• Discover and respond to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
• Perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
• Create a great customer service experience
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
