As a student programming board at the University of St. Thomas, STAR is committed to providing opportunities for students to interact and develop relationships with other students outside of their time in the classroom. STAR is allocated a portion of the student activity fee and uses that money to provide a variety of engaging events for students such as live music, movies, bingo, DIY activities, STAR Excursions (off-campus trips throughout the Twin Cities), recreation activities, and more. STAR also provides social and engagement opportunities for each class cohort as students navigate various stages of life as a college student. As a programming board on campus, we are committed to planning and executing events where everyone feels they are welcome and safe. We are devoted to creating an engaging and inclusive environment for all students to develop relationships with others.
