About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a stand-up reach forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. The operator will be responsible for accurately picking and staging orders, as well as loading and unloading trucks. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are paramount in this role.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience operating a stand-up reach forklift.
Valid forklift operator certification.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
Familiarity with inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

Operate a stand-up reach forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
Perform daily inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervision immediately.
