Stand up/High Reach -Forklift Operator- 1st Shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm - Mon - Fri
About The Position
Use of power equipment to load and unload product. Safely move, locate, relocate, stack and count product. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license, use a handheld RF Scan Device, and lift up to 50lbs. The role involves extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as the ability to twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level. The work environment is non-climate controlled. Position expectations include meeting productivity standards, understanding stocking strategies, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and customer work instructions, ensuring error and damage-free shipments, accurate scanning and paperwork, reporting product damage and inventory discrepancies, and demonstrating initiative by gaining knowledge of multiple accounts and job functions.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
- Ability to use handheld RF Scan Device.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to twist, stoop, squat and reach above shoulder level.
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Follow all rules, guideline, and practices.
- Informs supervisor / manager immediately if unsafe conduct or conditions arise.
- Follow established Dock Safety policy.
- Follow our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions.

Responsibilities
- Use of power equipment to load and unload product.
- Safely move, locate, relocate, stack and count product.
- Complete lift inspection (electronic/paper) prior to operation.
- Report all equipment malfunctions to manager and/or maintenance immediately.
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are error and damage free.
- Ensure that product is scanned properly and matches the Item code on the product, pick lists, stocking lists, and physical product.
- Complete all Inbound and Outbound paper work accurately and completely.
- Report all product damage to your supervisor/manager.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and report all inventory discrepancy to supervisor/manager.
- Maintain daily housekeeping of our operations building, equipment, break rooms, restrooms, smoke areas, etc.
- Promote teamwork and assist in all areas and processes in the operation as needed / required.
