About The Position
National Star Services, a 28-year-old facility management company with nationwide services, is seeking a Stand-up Forklift Operator for its South Windsor, CT location. This role is crucial for supporting warehouse operations both inside and outside the facility.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
- 2 years of experience operating a stand-up forklift
- Have reliable transportation to and from the work site
- Availability to start working as soon as possible
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus
- Stand-up Forklift Certification is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Operate Stand-Up Clamp, Pacer, and Reach Truck forklifts
- Support warehouse operations inside and outside the facility
- Operate forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and organize materials and products
- Load and unload trucks and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Properly stage and organize products, pallets, and materials in designated areas
- Inspect forklift equipment before use and report any safety or maintenance concerns
- Assist with palletizing, wrapping, labeling, and preparing packages for shipment as needed
- Perform general warehouse duties when forklift operations are limited or completed
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
