About The Position

The UDC FG/3PL Operator will be trained in multiple areas of the UDC, including Finished Goods and 3rd Party Logistics Operations. This role will assist at the UDC as needed due to vacations, personal leave/call-ins, or as volume dictates. Priority will be dictated by the Team Lead, Department Supervisor, or designated leader according to shift-based needs. The operator must possess excellent communication skills and be able to communicate in English (read, write, speak, and understand). Travel to and from any new or existing SFI or 3PL locations will be required. When not required to be at a 3PL, the operator will be at the UDC or another assigned location per leadership direction. The operator will be expected to operate reach truck varieties and/or standup lifts, and/or sit-down lifts. A 90% efficiency rate at 90 days after training is required. This is a dedicated position primarily working at off-site locations and will require travel. The operator is required to complete and pass the Food Safety Exam during the first week of orientation. Any and all other duties assigned by leadership will also be part of this role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D.
  • Basic Math skills.
  • Willingness to do what needs to be done in a timely manner.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Dependable.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Requires repetitive hand and wrist motion.
  • Requires repetitive bending and lifting.
  • Must be able to stand for 10.5 hours each day.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Authorization to work in the country where the role is based.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Picking, staging, and shipping of customer orders.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of their distribution center and remain audit ready at all times.
  • Assessment of trailer for damage or other misc. issues.
  • Temp checks on trailers.
  • Perform FG tasks at 3PL or SFI locations as needed.
  • Operate reach truck varieties and/or standup lifts, and/or sit-down lifts.
  • Achieve 90% efficiency at 90 days after training.
  • Complete and pass the Food Safety Exam during the first week of orientation.
  • Work 12-hour shifts.
  • Drive a forklift.
  • Perform all DC-PC2, CP, CCP, QP, and CQP process checks required for the position.
  • Follow reaction plans for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement deviations.
  • Identify and understand customer requirements and assist in assuring proper production operation.
  • Demonstrate identity of product and record accurate data on production reports.
