About The Position

This role coordinates, monitors, and performs technical processes related to the Stamping shop within the maintenance department to meet company goals. The Stamping Maintenance Specialist will report on the status of assigned tasks, develop detailed action plans to meet shop-wise maintenance indexes (including downtime, PM plan & actual, equipment monitoring systems, equipment improvements, and safety/environmental aspects), and prepare detail training plans for team members to meet skill level targets. The specialist will also prepare and execute the annual operation plan, report on task status, and support the AM/MGR in fostering good teamwork through meetings, events, and collaboration. Analysis of Stamping shop downtime and the provision of improvement plans are key responsibilities. The role requires a flexible work schedule based on department shift rotation and may involve urgent equipment issue resolution during nights, weekends, and holidays. Additionally, the specialist will analyze the shops' wise maintenance budget for the year, verify exact part specifications, create material numbers for purchase requisitions (PR), and act as the primary counterpart for the purchasing team to obtain POs. Responsibilities include managing PRs, parts receiving, organizing, issuing parts, and handling payments with supervisor approval. Monitoring the purchasing, distribution, and inventory control of maintenance materials (including tools and subsidiary materials) is also required. The role demands good communication with the AM/MGR to supervise and control organizational conflicts and address individual distress from work. The specialist will also serve as a mentor to shop members, encouraging continuous improvement. Requirements

  • More than 3 years maintenance career in the field of automated plants.
  • Trouble shooting ability for PLC based automation equipment.
  • Ability to understand drawing and specifications of electrical, mechanical systems.
  • More than 1 years Stamping shop maintenance career in major automotive industry.
  • AB PLC program and control circuit experience
  • Performed many equipment installations including design study, paperwork, inspection and testing new/modified equipment and processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Strong command of the English language (written and spoken) is essential for safety, communication, documentation, and collaboration across the organization.
