Securing Travel, Protecting People - At the Transportation Security Administration, you will serve in a high-stakes environment to safeguard the American way of life. Requirements

  • You must possess U.S. Citizenship or be a U.S. National.
  • You must complete a favorable Background Investigation (BI).
  • Selective Service registration is required.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening AND random drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the lead liaison for the Federal Security Director (FSD) and various stakeholders concerned with aviation security policy.
  • Planning, coordinating, and implementing effective strategies to establish and maintain a program to communicate to stakeholders the TSA's policies, programs, and activities.
  • Identifying and responding to stakeholders' questions, problems, and concerns.
  • Working closely with leadership to develop and implement stakeholder information policies and programs.
  • Analyzing TSA's communication needs and recommending programs and technologies needed to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Interfacing with security policy stakeholders to gain a full perspective on all aspects of the innovations and "lessons learned" to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of aviation security policies.
  • Providing technical and administrative direction to the staff.
