About The Position
This is a hands-on role for a skilled Stainless TIG Pipe Welder in Ashland, VA, focusing on running quality welds every shift. The position offers steady, ongoing day-shift work with opportunities for overtime. You will be responsible for TIG welding stainless steel pipe and tube, working from drawings and weld specifications, and fitting, tacking, and welding process piping. Preparation and purging of joints before welding are also key responsibilities, along with maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Hands-on stainless TIG pipe experience
- Comfortable reading shop drawings
- Steady hand for clean, quality welds
- Pride in clean, repeatable welds
- Reliable transportation to Ashland VA
