Requirements

• 10+ years of welding experience in heavy fabrication, custom job shop, or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated mastery of stainless steel and nickel-alloy welding.
• Proficient reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
• Expert with precision measuring tools: tape measure, calipers, micrometers.
• Self-directed problem solver who takes pride in doing it right the first time.

Nice To Haves

• ASME Section IX and/or AWS certifications preferred (or ability to qualify).

Responsibilities

• Perform expert-level MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding on critical industrial components built from stainless steel, high-nickel alloys (Inconel, Hastelloy, Monel), and other specialty metals.
• Execute full-cycle metal fabrication, including layout, fit-up, tack, and final assembly of complex, large-scale industrial equipment.
• Read and interpret advanced blueprints, engineering drawings, and complex weld symbols with 100% accuracy.
• Weld confidently in all positions: flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
• Ensure every weld meets rigorous ASME Section IX and AWS D1.1/D1.6 quality standards.

• Pay: $22 - $40/hr based on experience, plus $2/hr shift differential for 2nd shift.
