About The Position

Bio Fab Technologies is a custom stainless-steel fabricator that manufactures equipment for the Food and Pharmaceutical industries. With our continued growth, we are looking to add an impact player to our team as a Polisher. The polisher discolors and polishes various stainless steel parts including frames, manifolds, adapters, and spools.

Requirements

• Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentations (work orders, drawings and specifications).
• Ability to follow work instructions and work well in a team.
• Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.

Nice To Haves

• 2-5 years of polishing stainless-steel materials preferred

Responsibilities

• Improvement of surface finish and correction of any material defects on stainless steel material.
• Operates equipment in accordance with specifications. Equipment may include pneumatic and electric hand grinders, pedestal grinders and buffers.
• Maintains tools and machinery as needed.
• Performs with high attention to detail and produces high-quality parts.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations, including the use of PPE.
• Assures parts are clean and placed in their respective areas for the next manufacturing process.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
