About The Position

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staging & Configuration Specialist to support AV system staging, rack fabrication, and testing efforts in their Lowell, AR facility. This is a hands-on, in-office role ideal for a technician who enjoys problem-solving, working with hardware, and seeing projects through from build to deployment.

Requirements

Basic understanding of AV (Audio Visual) systems
Experience working with hardware configuration, staging, or technical assembly
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Ability to work independently and follow technical drawings/diagrams
Comfortable using basic hand tools
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Responsibilities

Gather and document critical AV hardware information, including: Serial numbers, MAC addresses, IP addresses, Firmware and software versions, System credentials
Perform firmware updates and configure AV equipment as needed
Mock up AV systems in a lab environment following engineering designs
Assemble AV equipment racks in accordance with AVIXA standards
Perform functional testing and system validation prior to deployment
Collaborate with AV programmers to deploy system configurations
Assist engineers with system testing and troubleshooting
Maintain accurate inventory records within AV warehouse systems
Organize and maintain the rack fabrication and staging area
Package, label, and prepare AV systems for shipment
