The proposed internship requires knowledge of industrial processes and includes work on our chicken and blood processing lines. The candidate will be responsible for supporting process engineers within Sanimax's engineering department. This internship will take place from September to December 2026.

Requirements

  • Student in Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Biotech Engineering (T6 or recent graduate).
  • Strong interest in industrial processes.
  • Analytical mindset, rigor, and ability to work in a team.
  • Proven experience in conducting tests and writing technical reports.
  • Experience in implementing process changes and/or new control strategies.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge or experience in advanced control and automation.
  • Training or professional experience in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Experience in multivariate analysis.
  • Experience with OSI PI Vision software.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the different transformation processes of the plant, including those related to blood and chicken processing.
  • Participate in various process optimization and improvement projects, such as developing test plans, taking measurements, analyzing data, and writing reports.
  • Participate in daily production meetings.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems affecting process efficiency.
  • Perform root cause analyses and communicate results to the operations team.
  • May be required to work evening or night shifts to support operations.
