About The Position
Blaisdell Hall at Pitt-Bradford is seeking a reliable and experienced Stagehand to assist with the setup, execution, and teardown of campus arts and music events. This is a part-time, on-call position scheduled per event, with minimal monthly hours ranging from 3 to 10, depending on the event calendar.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in performing arts or music events.
- Familiarity with standard industry equipment, such as lighting instruments, audio gear, and cabling.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and work flexible hours based on the event schedule.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and striking stages, lighting, sound, and other technical equipment.
- Operate or assist with basic audio, lighting, and visual equipment during performances.
- Load and unload gear and assist visiting artists and performers as needed.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of backstage and storage areas.
- Follow safety guidelines and instructions from technical directors and event managers.
