About The Position

The Stage Manager coordinates and executes on-stage and loading dock operations for concerts and events, from pre-show preparations through day-of-show execution. The role is the central communication point between the Venue Production Manager, touring parties, clients, and rental vendors, ensuring technical and logistical execution is aligned. The Stage Manager oversees stage activity and helps ensure efficient load-ins and load-outs, clear communication, and on-time performances. The position may also include executing artist settlements after a show, as directed by the Production Manager.

Requirements

At least 3 years of tour and stage production experience.
Experience with stage lighting, professional audio systems, and basic video systems.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to make clear, concise decisions, sometimes with limited information.
Computer literacy in Windows applications.
Superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Communicate event details to the venue production crew and relevant in-house departments.
Manage members of the Venue production team and stagehands, and assist with technical needs within those teams.
Ensure tours and clients have the venue-provided items needed to execute shows and events.
Supervise the load-in and load-out of band and rental equipment.
Document accidents, incidents, and disciplinary issues involving the production crew and report actions to the Production Manager.
Execute artist settlements after shows when directed by the Production Manager.
Enforce in-house policies concerning staging, safety, and show protocol.
