Requirements

Riggers are to always be connected to safety lines and systems to prevent any accidental falls.
A Stagehand should be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and will never be expected to lift more than that without assistance from another stagehand.

Nice To Haves

While Stagehand is the primary position, these duties are inclusive of other positions that will be assigned as needed to include Loader, Climber/Rigger and Driver.

Responsibilities

Assist traveling crew in setting up of lighting, sound, sets, and band gear.
Taking boxes, crates, trussing, etc. and placing items in their appropriate place throughout the venue as directed by the traveling crew
Unstack and offload sound gear, lighting truss, set carts etc.
Bring steel up to the buildings beams to allow points to drop where the show requires them
