About The Position

Sparrow Company Executive Search & Staffing is a bi-national, service-disabled veteran-owned executive search and staffing firm supporting fast-paced, high-volume recruiting across multiple sectors. We are hiring an experienced Staffing Recruiter who brings a strong sense of urgency, stays organized while managing multiple priorities, and consistently follows through with candidates, clients, and the Sparrow team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of recent fast-paced, high-volume recruiting experience with a staffing agency or recruiter experience.
  • Must be able to speak, write and read in English and Spanish.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license to be able to travel to client job sites and actively participate in after-hours or weekend events as needed.
  • Must have proficiency in applicant tracking or CRM systems, job boards, social media sourcing, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong sense of urgency, reliability, initiative, accountability, and follow-through, with the ability to multitask, prioritize open positions, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Applicants may be subject to a background check and other pre-employment screening.
  • Applicants may be subject to a drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience utilizing ADP Workforce Now platform is preferred.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle, high-volume recruiting for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire positions across manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, and event staffing.
  • Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, community outreach, job fairs, and direct recruiting.
  • Review applications and conduct bilingual phone and in-person interviews to assess work history, qualifications, availability, pay expectations, and job fit.
  • Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified, ready-to-work candidates for current and upcoming client needs.
  • Respond quickly to urgent job orders and changing priorities while meeting recruiting activity and placement goals.
  • Communicate job requirements clearly, keep candidates engaged, and provide timely follow-up throughout the hiring process.
  • Coordinate candidate submittals, client interviews, offers, pre-employment screening, onboarding, start dates, and first-day instructions.
  • Maintain complete and accurate candidate notes, status updates, and job-order activity in the applicant tracking, CRM, and staffing systems.
  • Partner with recruiters, operations, and leadership to resolve staffing challenges and deliver strong service to clients and employees.
  • Travel to client job sites as needed to provide customer support, assist with hiring events, and support client-site recruiting activities.
  • Assist the team wherever needed, take ownership of assigned work, and perform other duties as assigned.
