Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office, and Outlook
Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing at all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

Minimum one year experience with staffing, and/or scheduling
Experience ADP (payroll system) and OnShift (scheduling system)

Responsibilities

Create nursing home nursing department staffing schedules.
Route completed overtime slips, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Leave of Absence (LOA) requests to the Director of Nursing or appropriate supervisor for approval.
Contact PRN or regular staff to supplement staffing levels where necessary and make necessary changes.
Maintain payroll (missed punches, paid leave requests, etc.) and enter payroll for nursing department.
Notify Human Resources of any possible Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) absences or other extended leaves of absence.
