JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Work Shift: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm JOB SUMMARY: Coordinates staffing and scheduling functions for the Department of Nursing including, Maternal Child services, Critical Care services, and Adult Health. Determines staffing needs based on the acuity of patient population and the intensity of service. Promote an environment that enables clinical staff to deliver efficient, safe, and high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• High School Graduate required; college degree preferred.
• Must possess effective organization and time management skills as well as successfully balance multiple tasks throughout a workday.
• Ability to prioritize workload, schedule meetings, and manage the staffing office is required.
• Competency in the Microsoft Office Suite and standardization of data collection are required.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Must possess good physical health.
• Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time.
• Lifting at least 50 pounds is required.
