About The Position

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Staffing Coordinator for our Surgical Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Staffing Coordinator you will: Coordinate daily staffing needs, under the direction of the Nurse Manager. Collaborate development of schedules with Nurse Managers for the Department of Nursing. Input and manage department time-sheet data entry. Assist Nurse Leadership with data collection (time and attendance, staff usage reports, etc). Assist with the coordination of new employee orientation scheduling and other special projects as assigned. Update productivity daily reports and perform other clerical duties as assigned Other duties as assigned (Emergency Services would be 15% of time)

Requirements

  • High School diploma. Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum or two years of secretarial or administrative support experience.
  • Must be detailed oriented, have the ability to work independently and handle a multi task environment.
  • Experience with KRONOS Payroll and Timekeeping System
  • Must have organizational and time management skills
  • Must maintain positive communication with Nurse Managers, staff and Nursing
  • Administration and have excellent customer service skills
  • Must have MicroSoft Office Skills, i.e. Excel and Word
  • Must complete required Condition of Employment Training

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred.
