Mason Health and Rehabilitation is looking for a Staffing Coordinator to join their team and help make a difference! This role is crucial in ensuring adequate staffing for nursing services, contributing to the high-quality care provided to residents. Requirements

  • Valid RN, LPN, or CNA license in the State of employment.
  • Thorough understanding of the principles of safe effective nursing practices.
  • Working knowledge of personal computers, e-mail accounts, and computer software programs such as Word, Excel, and ADP.
  • Familiarity with minor office machines such as faxes and copiers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee staff scheduling for nursing services positions (nursing aides, CNAs, QMAs, LPNs, Registered Nurses).
  • Assist with screening job applicants for nursing services positions.
  • Collaborate with the DON or ADON in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection of nursing services personnel.
  • Ensure adequate staff is available to meet resident needs per facility policy and State Regulations.
  • Assist with the replacement of absent personnel and cover scheduling gaps.
  • Perform new hire orientation functions such as drug testing, annual PPD, and other requirements.
  • Coordinate assignments for CNAs and QMAs and create daily staffing assignment sheets.
  • Create per pay period staffing schedules and apprise employees of scheduling changes.
  • Comply with safety requirements, infection control measures, and maintain a clean work environment.
