About The Position

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for completing and maintaining schedules for Admin, C.N.A., Charge Nurse, and RAs, while documenting absentee records and reprimands according to policy. This role also involves completing and maintaining all Quality Assurance data and reporting to the QAPI committee monthly regarding staffing requirements. The Staff Coordinator will assist LTC surveyors as needed and may be required to work in the position of charge nurse or C.N.A. when necessary. The position initiates the hiring process using the hiring software Exact Hire, schedules and conducts interviews, and completes other required HR steps. Additionally, the Staffing Coordinator completes and submits monthly staffing reports to ADHHS and monthly health reports to Infection Prevention. This role participates in a weekend on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid and active license in good standing as an LPN or RN in the state of Arkansas.
  • Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principals, practices and procedures.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
  • Experience with educational requirements of state, federal, OSHA, OBRA, and ADA regulations.
  • Must have experience in computer operations.
