About The Position

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for obtaining unit staffing needs and filling shifts with SOS/Agency availabilities on a daily basis, as well as providing a monthly schedule. Secondary duties include managing the on-call calendar, maintaining team member files, assisting with the resolution of invoice issues, and supporting the new hire orientation process. This role provides clerical and technical support to the department and performs special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • 2 years of Secretarial experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Obtains unit staffing needs and fills shifts with SOS/Agency availabilities on a daily basis.
  • Provides a monthly schedule for SOS nurses, matching their availability with unit needs and keeping TSS and Kronos current.
  • Completes letters, memos, forms, general correspondence, and special reports using computer software.
  • Assists units daily in meeting their staffing needs utilizing SOS and Agency Personnel.
  • Supports new hires in the orientation process and associated documentation.
  • Maintains an inventory of forms, equipment, and supplies for the department.
  • Manages the on-call calendar.
