About The Position
This is a part-time position with 18.75 hours per week, involving varied days including every other weekend. The role supports house call visits, maintains related records, and prepares monthly reports for various sites including House Call, Patient Service Centers, Faculty Practice phlebotomy sites, and Nursing Homes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
Responsibilities
- Answers phones for home service and ensures all physician, testing, patient, and billing information is collected and confirmed prior to scheduling house calls.
- Prepares test requisitions and ensures timely completion of house calls; assigns swing phlebotomists as necessary.
- Ensures appropriate patients have assigned escorts and maintains the daily Escort List.
- Assists in gathering and confirming hours and payroll preparation for employees covering House Call services, nursing homes, and draw sites in Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk.
- Tabulates and prepares monthly reports on House Call, Patient Service Centers, Faculty Practice sites, and Nursing home activities.
- Provides marketing with feedback on current client activities and/or service issues and information on prospective clients.
- Accurately enters actual staff on duty into the Res-Q actual staffing module before the end of the shift.
- Retrieves time and attendance reports when requested; accurately reports and records sick/absent calls to the appropriate unit management staff.
- Accurately enters patient census and nursing staffing guidelines for each shift.
- Performs related duties as required.
