Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • 4 years of experience with 3D and 2D CAD design of automotive components and assemblies using Dassault 3DExperience or Catia V5.
  • 4 years of experience releasing automotive components and assemblies in Dassault 3DExperience or Enovia V5.
  • 4 years of experience solving cross functional vehicle integration problems for automotive products.
  • 4 years of experience documenting product architecture studies, attribute sensitivities, and architecture decisions in Atlassian, Confluence, and Jira.
  • 3 years of experience developing and delivering prototype parts for new automotive products.
  • 3 years of experience tracking, documenting, and resolving issues with Confluence or Jira.

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative geometrical packaging solutions for all vehicle systems that optimize product attributes, simplify manufacturing processes, and enable key styling themes.
  • Create sketches, 3D CAD data, and physical prototypes for vehicle integration concepts that improve product cost, mass, efficiency, manufacturability, serviceability, and user experience.
  • Drive cross-functional product architecture decisions between vehicle systems through engineering fundamentals and attribute sensitivities.
  • Identify and resolve geometrical incompatibilities between systems with concept 3D CAD.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, technicians, and suppliers to procure and build physical properties.
