Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff Training Systems Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Engineering organization. This role is located in Melbourne, FL. In this role, you will fully utilize your ability to leverage “Systems thinking” -- develop, document, and maintain a big picture understanding of how a device fits into the broader system design and supports the customer’s expectations of the system. Therefore your responsibility will be to perform system engineering activities for all levels of a total system product, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, and maintenance. Additionally, you will lead the development of use cases and delivery of systems engineering artifacts and will drive the definition of Features and Subsystem Features to be developed by program Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to implement customer-requested capabilities. Throughout, you will need to effectively communicate the system architecture and feature plan to a diverse group of customers, suppliers, leadership, stakeholders, developers, engineers, subject matter experts, and users.
