Development of electromechanical equipment used for product testing, including proof of concept, system development (electromechanical and software), engineering prints, validation, and implementation. Identifies and implements safety/ergonomic and cycle time improvements within processes utilizing electromechanical equipment. Accountable for ensuring assigned processes and process changes are compliant and documented in accordance with Stryker procedures and applicable regulations. Develops and evaluates blueprints and engineering requirements of equipment to ensure sustainable repairability. Partners with global service operations, supply chain, engineering, and other groups to solve process issues to drive customer satisfaction. Committed to quality by striving for reliability and quality in our products, continuously searching for ways to enhance performance and meeting all training and documentation criteria. Monitor and influence progress of projects to ensure sound application of engineering principles are used and design intent is being followed and achieved. Ensure implementation of new/updated equipment is robust and sustainable, including buy-in from R&D, global usability, preventive maintenance, equipment installation and qualification, and cycle time optimization.
