About The Position

The Staff TPM, Vehicle Program leads end-to-end execution of complex vehicle programs from concept through launch. The role integrates hardware, software, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, safety, service, and external partners to deliver the complete vehicle to timing, cost, quality, performance, and regulatory targets. As a trusted partner to Vehicle Program Leadership and Chief Engineering, the Staff TPM owns the full-vehicle BOM management, program risks and dependencies, partner schedules and technical issue-resolution reviews whilst supporting the Vehicle Program Director in executive review preparation and the Program Lead in the integrated program execution plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, vehicle development, systems engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional vehicle or product development programs.
  • Strong understanding of engineering development, integrated planning, and product lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of the integrated vehicle program plan, including schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and readiness criteria.
  • Drive cross-functional execution against timing, cost, quality, technical, and launch objectives.
  • Lead program reviews, maintain objective program health reporting, and coordinate recovery plans where delivery is at risk.
  • Assess scope and change impacts and support timely, data-driven program decisions.
  • Develop a strong working understanding of vehicle architecture, requirements, attributes, and technical deliverables.
  • Partner with Chief Engineering and functional teams to align hardware and software development at the vehicle level.
  • Facilitate technical trade-off and issue-resolution discussions, ensuring decisions reflect vehicle-level impacts.
  • Define and monitor measurable technical and integration readiness criteria.
  • Maintain program-level visibility and governance of the full-vehicle BOM across systems, modules, and commodities.
  • Drive achievement of BOM cost targets with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Cost Engineering, and external partners.
  • Evaluate cost, content, timing, quality, investment, and performance trade-offs and ensure approved changes are reflected in the program baseline.
  • Identify BOM and cost risks early and coordinate mitigation, recovery, and escalation.
  • Establish and maintain integrated risk, issue, action, and dependency management for the vehicle program.
  • Proactively identify technical, software, schedule, resource, supplier, cost, quality, and launch risks.
  • Drive accountable mitigation and recovery plans with clear owners, timing, and impact assessments.
  • Escalate decisions and constraints with concise recommendations and transparent program impacts.
  • Coordinate execution across Vehicle Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software, Electronics, Powertrain, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Validation, Finance, Service, and Operations.
  • Align software release plans, feature maturity, validation, and integration events with hardware builds and vehicle milestones.
  • Ensure cross-functional stakeholders remain aligned on priorities, interfaces, commitments, and decision timing.
  • Support as a vehicle-program interface for key suppliers, technology partners, and development partners.
  • Lead recurring schedule and timing reviews, deliverable tracking, and recovery planning with external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate technical issue-resolution discussions across internal teams and partners, driving closure of integration, quality, validation, and launch concerns.
  • Incorporate external commitments, dependencies, and risks into the integrated vehicle program plan.
  • Prepare and present concise program status, risks, decisions, trade-offs, and recovery plans to senior leadership.
  • Drive readiness reviews across vehicle builds, software releases, validation, manufacturing, supply chain, service, and launch.
  • Monitor vehicle-level readiness metrics and lead closure of launch-critical issues.
  • Support the transition from development into production and sustained operations.
