Staff Technical Program Manager

Anduril IndustriesCosta Mesa, CA

About The Position

Anduril's Software Platform builds the integrated platform behind Lattice — enabling data management, task orchestration, and interoperability across Anduril's product ecosystem. Our engineers ship to the front lines, not to a lab. Unlike experimental systems, our software is deployed and operating in real-world environments today. Our work spans core infrastructure, distributed systems, web development, networking, and other critical areas that form the backbone of Anduril's technology stack. Together, these disciplines power a scalable platform supporting autonomous systems, real-time decision-making, and applications across all warfighting domains. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive strategic, cross-functional programs across Software Platform. You will own programs end-to-end — aligning engineering, product, and business stakeholders, driving clarity through ambiguity, and ensuring technical outcomes ship on time. This role requires both technical depth and organizational leadership: you'll translate complex engineering efforts into actionable plans, surface risks early, and hold teams accountable.

Requirements

  • 12-15+ years experience as a TPM in a high-paced, software development environment.
  • Robust technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges, trade-offs and risks; ability to work closely and effectively with engineering teams.
  • Strong experience and familiarity in project management for software development; practical familiarity with a variety of methodologies and ability to apply them where best suited.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence as well as understanding of Agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive decisions.
  • Experience is rolling out wide-ranging organizational process changes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in building programs for software deliverables from ground up
  • Ability to work within organizations with minimal structure and with minimal direction
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, GIAC-PEN, Prosci, SAFe or PMP
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an engineering discipline

Responsibilities

  • Help define and execute the roadmap for SWP, working across groups to de-risk dependencies and keep teams aligned on what ships when
  • Autonomously execute with a high degree of ownership on broad requirements, managing stakeholders across the Software Platform organization, Business Lines and other company partners simultaneously and delivering successful outcomes
  • Manage, unblock, and accelerate cross-team projects spanning multiple functional teams and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Instill an efficient project management mindset and workflow across the teams
  • Collaborate with product leads to scope, staff, and deliver capabilities that achieve company milestones, while supporting leads with staffing plans and prioritization
  • Help define and serve as the Software Platform champion for our program management standards, tools, processes and mechanisms
  • Track and communicate program progress, defining efficient processes for broader status updates and proactively managing issues and obstacles.
  • Clearly communicate across all stakeholders, ensuring the dependencies and blockers made clear, and tracked and acted on consistently
  • Stand up and maintain SWP-wide KPIs that give leadership real signal on progress, health, and bottlenecks
  • Understand technical implementation at the architectural level, propose alternatives when necessary.
  • Corral key performance indicators from across the business to help shape future organizational investments
