About the Role: We’re seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to own the design, execution, and strategic direction of complex, ambiguous programs at the group and organizational level. This is a full-time, regular position on our Engineering & Technology team. You’ll operate as a technical integrator across multiple domains — identifying architectural risk, aligning engineering, product, and business priorities, and building the execution frameworks that let the organization scale. You’ll partner closely with senior technical and business leaders to translate long-range strategy into roadmaps that hold up under ambiguity, and you’ll help shape how Hims & Hers builds and delivers technology at scale.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, including time operating at the group or organizational level.
  • Demonstrated success designing and scaling execution frameworks for programs with ambiguous scope and high risk.
  • Broad technical fluency across systems and architecture, with the judgment to identify cross-domain risk and influence engineering tradeoffs.
  • Proven ability to translate strategic vision into actionable, multi-team roadmaps, delivering through influence as the default while holding the authority to make hard calls when needed.
  • A track record of formally mentoring or developing other TPMs, with direct involvement in growing the team through interviewing and sourcing.
  • Exceptional cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills, distilling complexity into clarity across the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in a highly technical, fast-paced product or platform environment; healthtech a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own group-level and org-level strategic programs with ambiguous scope and high risk, from initial framing through delivery.
  • Design execution frameworks and operating models — planning cadences, program reviews, and cross-team operating rhythms — that scale program management practices across multiple teams and domains.
  • Resolve systemic blockers and drive long-range planning rigor, balancing short-term priorities against long-term strategic direction to keep roadmap and OKR alignment intact across the organization.
  • Operate as a technical integrator, identifying architectural misalignments and system- or platform-level risks across domains.
  • Shape technical roadmap and build-vs-buy decisions by aligning engineering, product, and business constraints, and influence where technical investment can unlock new capability or improve user outcomes.
  • Act as a strategic partner to cross-functional peers, influencing priorities and decisions across multiple orgs.
  • Make the call to shut down programs or redirect resources when it’s the right outcome for the business.
  • Mentor other TPMs and contribute to growing the team through interviewing, sourcing, and onboarding.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary & equity compensation for full-time roles
  • Unlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental & vision, and parental leave
  • Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)
  • 401k benefits with employer matching contribution
  • Offsite team retreats
