About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Technical Program Manager to lead company-wide technically complex programs with high impact and urgency. This role is for individuals who see building Tech Strategy & Execution (TSE) as a crucial enabling technology, possess strong subject matter expertise in software design architecture and analysis, have a strong background in system design and data analysis for platform capabilities, and enjoy solving technically complex problems in AI/ML and cloud computing. The ideal candidate is execution-oriented with a focus on driving platform enhancements and improvements across the technology, demonstrating a high degree of collaborative skills, and the ability to influence and communicate effectively at multiple levels. This role involves defining, iterating, and improving operational excellence within a large organization, with significant exposure to various tech and business leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of Strategic Technical Program Management experience.
  • Experience in challenging problem solving, deep diving into an issue, identifying root-causes and suggesting realistic solutions.
  • Experience synthesizing information quickly, distilling key takeaways, and presenting insights to senior leadership.
  • Experience working with large sets of structured and unstructured data and synthesizing into business insights.
  • High standards and a bias toward action.
  • Expert communication and interpersonal skills, must be able to run meetings and work streams with senior leadership across the company.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in fast-paced and dynamic environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong subject matter expertise in software design architecture and analysis.
  • Strong background on system design and the data analysis required for defining must have capabilities for a Platform.
  • Experience solving technically complex problems and deliver outcomes in the realms of AI/ML, cloud computing.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with company-wide business & Engineering teams to help define, streamline, design and analyze data to build business requirements.
  • Work with engineering teams to articulate requirements, perform functional & technical data & system analysis, and drive engineering to implementation via all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Drive execution with a sense of urgency and technical depth.
  • Define, iterate and improve operation excellence in large organization.
  • Develop new tools and process to support the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Create and manage long-term goals of the organization.
  • Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.
  • Prioritize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
  • Identify systems needs and/or define process to improve efficiency and enable reliability and scalability.
  • Speak the language of engineers and lead initiatives involving non-functional requirements and platform-level changes.
  • Utilize analytical depth to identify gaps, prioritize effectively, and move with urgency in dynamic environments.
  • Manage end-to-end responsibility from planning and strategy development to execution and accountability for quarterly and annual goals.
