About The Position

Klarity is seeking a Staff Technical Product Manager to join their fast-growing Series B company. This role is for an experienced individual who has previously shaped product strategy at scale, operates with minimal direction, influences cross-functional leaders, and measurably improves outcomes. The ideal candidate is a technical PM who thinks in platforms, possesses deep AI product knowledge, acts as an organizational multiplier, is a trusted cross-functional voice, and is equally strong in discovery and strategy. The role involves understanding customer needs, prototyping, owning high-leverage product areas, shaping AI platform strategy, establishing product standards, driving cross-functional alignment, and tackling complex, ambiguous problems.

Requirements

7+ years in PM, including Staff, Principal, or equivalent scope.
Deep experience with AI/ML platforms or developer-facing products strongly preferred.
Operates at systems level — thinks in platforms, not features.
Understands how product decisions create leverage or lock-in two years from now, and has navigated that before.
Deep AI product thinker — has owned AI-native products through multiple iterations.
Understands eval frameworks, model tradeoffs, prompt architecture, and the operational complexity of running LLM features at scale.
Organizational multiplier — turns tribal knowledge into reusable standards and patterns.
Trusted cross-functional voice — Engineering leadership, the CTO, and the CEO treat opinions as signal.
Equally strong in discovery and strategy — comfortable synthesizing customer interviews into strategic narratives and writing precise technical specs.
Product & UX Taste — identifies systemic product problems before they surface in customer feedback.
Makes platform-level design decisions that create leverage for the entire product org.
Sets the standard for what good looks like across multiple surfaces.
AI-Native Velocity — defines how the product org thinks about and ships AI-native features.
Designs evaluation frameworks, shapes how the team accounts for non-determinism, and moves the entire function forward.
Creates clarity in ambiguous situations and takes ownership well beyond assigned scope.
Ships to Outcomes — accountable for the highest-stakes, most complex deliverables.
Uses AI tools fluently to prototype, validate, and pressure-test product directions.
Finds a way to make progress visible without waiting for permission or capacity.
Communication — operates as a trusted voice in leadership conversations.
Writes and speaks with precision and confidence that shifts decisions at the executive level.
Turns months of ambiguous discovery into crisp strategic narratives.

Responsibilities

Speak directly with many customers and customer executives to understand their needs
Prototype and rapidly iterate on your product ideas
Own the highest-leverage product areas with significant autonomy
Shape our AI platform strategy — work with the CTO and AI team to define where AI capabilities create durable product differentiation
Establish product standards — define how we do discovery, write specs, measure outcomes, and run experiments across the org
Drive cross-functional alignment at leadership level — own product narratives that align Engineering, Design, GTM, and executive leadership
Be the PM for the hardest problems — strategically critical, technically complex, and genuinely ambiguous
