Raytheon is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer, providing enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support to an operational government customer within the Intelligence Community. This position manages projects or processes with minimal oversight and provides measurable input to new products, processes or standards in operational plans to implement customer integrations and/or objectives. The position works in a SCIF environment with flexible work hours to accommodate work/life balance practices.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Systems Engineering, to include installation, integration and test support
  • Experience with Engineering technical and project management.
  • Experience with internal and external customers in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor.)
  • Experience with Request For Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessment experience.
  • An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced with Customer NSIS and/or rapid delivery methods.
  • Customer relationships.
  • Experience working across contract and location boundaries.
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence and MBSE/CAMEO beneficial
  • Programming/Scripting languages (C++, Java, Python, etc.) preferred, but not required
  • Systems Engineering Background

Responsibilities

  • Provides systems engineering and integration support to assess, plan, coordinate, schedule and implement projects from inception through system transition.
  • Manages system integration projects and provide reliable data to the Customer enabling them to make informed decisions regarding the installation, integration checkout and test of operational system modifications and upgrades.
