Please be aware that this position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company. Continued employment thereafter will be subject to maintenance at the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 12+ years of engineering experience OR Master’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 10+ years of engineering experience OR PhD in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 8+ years of engineering experience
  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and have the willingness and ability to obtain and maintain active SCI access prior to start date. Continued employment thereafter will be subject to the candidate’s maintenance of the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future.

  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (or equivalent) clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years along with active SCI access at time of application and prior to start date

Responsibilities

  • Work scope covers a range of Systems Engineering disciplines and products including requirements & verification, interfaces, architecture, DOORS administration, and design
  • Support development of verification planning/products, test requirements, and other key products
  • Assist preparation and execution of milestones
  • Role entails collaboration with Space Vehicle Systems Engineering and Ground SEIT as well as engagement with multiple working groups and control boards
  • Specifics of responsibilities can be tailored based on the skillset and specific experience of the selected candidate
